Sahibzada Ajit Singh Free Poly Clinic was inaugurated by Lt Gen (Retd) JFR Jacob, PVSM, the then Governor Punjab and Administrator UT Chandigarh on 10th March, 2002 with the salient aim of rendering Free quality medical services to our poor and needy rural brethren, irrespective of their religion, colour, caste or creed. To start with, it had four rooms, a modern X-ray machine, ECG Machine, Computerized Lab and an Allopathic Dispensary. It provided totally free Gynecologist's & Physician's services on Mondays & Wednesdays respectively. The NGO was registered as a Trust on 12th June 2002. Less.

The idea of having a poly clinic at Village Perch was concieved in 2000 by Dr. Brig (Retd) ML Kataria, Chairman Health Care India, Mrs Harpreet Bhullar, retired Principal Govt College, owner of nearby farm house and S Bhag Singh, the Village Sarpanch at that time.

Our trust was founded by S A S Educational Society’s  Memorial  Charitable Trust  (The  Settler Trust), through its Chairman S. Baljit Singh, a known industrialist,a devoted and renowned social  worker of S.A.S.  Nagar (Mohali).
    S. Baljit Singh who was inspired into so doing by Late S Gurdial Singh who himself was the founder of S. Baljit Singh's above mention trust.
    S. Baljit Singh, Mrs Bhupinder Kaur and other members of their Trust continue  to be a source of immense inspiration and assistance to our trust.
